While this photo represents this idea of my words being quieted, my mouth being hidden, my ideas being questioned - all of that has taught me about the world and culture around me. My eyes have still seen terrible and beautiful things, I’ve still learned what I needed to become strong and confident.

The irony of being a woman is that we’ve had more practice breaking free and drawing stronger for a good cause. This makes us special and strong.

When we love each other with no judgements or conditions, the world around us changes.
